#254 Monterey Stencil

A shell between two leafy branches. The Monterey stencil centers a fan-shaped scallop shell on long sprays of slender leaves and berries, a wide border for over a door, a bathroom mirror, or a headboard.

How to use it

Hold the stencil in place with repositionable stencil spray or tape. Then dab or roll paint through it, or trowel Texture Medium over it and lift for a raised, embossed design. Foil adhesive works through a stencil too, for a foiled pattern. With more than one overlay, stencil them in order, one at a time, letting each layer dry.
