Turned stone balusters. The Villa Balustrade stencil gives you vase-shaped balusters under a flat rail on a stepped base, a trompe l'oeil railing for a wall mural, a stair wall, or a garden scene.

How to use it

Hold the stencil in place with repositionable stencil spray or tape. Then dab or roll paint through it, or trowel Texture Medium over it and lift for a raised, embossed design. Foil adhesive works through a stencil too, for a foiled pattern. With more than one overlay, stencil them in order, one at a time, letting each layer dry.
